Случай компании около Lower Cost, Same Quality: MCA Low-Cost Series Helps Enterprises Cut Costs and Boost Efficiency
With the spread of precision agriculture, more and more agricultural machinery manufacturers want to integrate vehicle leveling and attitude monitoring systems into tractors, harvesters, or crop protection machines. However, high-precision inclinometers on the market are often expensive and extremely delicate, while low-end products typically cannot survive a single harvest season in the harsh environment of strong vibration, heavy mud, and wide temperature swings, leading to frequent after-sales issues.
Core pain point: The boss needs to control material costs while ensuring stable equipment operation under tough working conditions.
Rion Technology recommended the MCA416T series low-cost, full-attitude inclinometer to the manufacturer. Designed specifically for industrial mobile equipment, this true “all-rounder" proves that affordability and rugged durability can go hand in hand.
Agricultural machinery operates under constant violent jolts that easily destroy ordinary sensors. The MCA series offers vibration resistance >3,500 g and shock resistance of 100 g. It uses a non-contact, all-solid-state micro-mechanical sensing element with no wearable rotating shaft, completely eliminating mechanical fatigue. With an IP67 rating, it is undaunted by heavy rain and mud spray, and boasts an impressive MTBF of 98,000 hours (nearly 10 years) – truly a “fit and forget" solution.
Although designed with cost advantage in mind, performance makes no compromises. The MCA series features a resolution of 0.1° and, even in temperatures from a frigid -40 °C to a scorching 85 °C, maintains full-temperature-range measurement accuracy within ±0.5°, delivering exceptionally well-controlled temperature drift. Whether for fine adjustments on a crane boom or chassis leveling for aerial work platforms, it responds quickly (response time as low as 50 ms) and stays accurate at all times.
The MCA416 series is the result of Rion’s independent R&D. Not only is the sensor unit price highly competitive, but it also saves manufacturers money during installation. It supports six mounting orientations with no shaft alignment needed – simply fix it in place with foolproof mounting. It also allows on-site zero setting, eliminating complex mechanical zeroing mechanisms and labor. Standard outputs include RS232, RS485, and TTL, making it easy to interface with various controllers while dispensing with expensive signal conversion modules. In addition to the MCA416 series, other MCA series options are also available.
